I went to the yamaha show friday in traverse city.I noticed the nytro has a firm seat foam while the apex,s were on the soft side, even though they are taller you sink in quite abit ,not all of the apex,s seemed to be the same firmness the mountain apex seemed to have the fimest seat which make the transition from sitting to standing easier as do the taller bars. The attack seemed to be inbetween the gt and the mountain.MY 05 rx has a firmer foam than the apex,s.
On motorcycles(street bikes) the aftermarket seats like corbin and mustang are firmer than factory seats ,which even though it doesnt seem like it ,makes the high mileage rides more comfortable.
I would think that the softer foam would be better for the small bumps but he firmer foam would be better for the big bumps that we ride on just about every weekend and would make it easier to stand up for the really big holes.Thoughts?Ideas?Observations?
