my cousin is trying to remove his seat, and can't figure out how to get the seat off.. can anyone help? Should he take off the exhaust covers?

he needs to remove the exhaust tips, and the rear plastic and tail light(2 screws). There are 2 10mm nuts that must be removed to get the seat off. Maxdlx

Do you have to drill out the rivits bellow the two screws, just above the bumper? I think I see the 10MM nuts, but it looks to me that the whole plastic thing tin the back needs to be removed.

Thanks guys

No drilleing required. Remove exhaust tips first and then the whole plastic piece (the one with the metal screen in it). After that the two 10mm nets that hold the seat down will be easlily accessible.

o ic, so the plastic piece in the back (the one below the light) will pop out??? I unscrewed the two screws holding it in, but didn't tug on it or do anything cuz I thought the two rivets were holding it in.

It just pops out. The rivets hold the reflector on.

remove the exhaust tips as well not just the two screws...

Remove the two exhaust tips there are only two screws as one is a dummy, then the rear tail piece the two screws are under the nose section to the sides, then the two J bolts & unplug the wires at the front tucked under the side panel
