We just did a oil change on my 07 Mtx and after we pulled the airbox off discovered the starter relay was full of corrosion after a little more investigation we also discovered that the fuse blades were completly eatin away with corrosion and one of the blades was actually broken off in the plug.
Sled has never been trailered or in the salt what would cause this to happen I will be replacing the relay.

There had to be a source of corrosion, possibly riding along a road they salted?
You can grease the sockets & fuses, that will help prevent further damage.
(Silicone dielectric grease is best.)
