Is removing/replacing an apex windshield as easy at it looks? Any tips?

Simple. Remove all the windshield screws (plastic) and install the new one. Be careful not to overtighten the screws; they strip very easily.

Be careful with this mod for teh following reasons:
#1 the process will be so simple and make the sled look so custom you will want to move to something else
#2 you find new carbides will really help the sled so you install those
#3 you find that a new track would really give you some much needed traction so you tear into the chain case ane realize its not so tough
which leads to...
#4 You decide to take on the engine oil swap and after you remove all teh parts you think that was easy and you start to wonder how can I add some power
#5 you decide a supercharger is you best bet and the install is easy but you want to run pump fule
#6 you remove the engine to put a head shim in it and find its not so bad
#7 you run 10 psi and want more power
#8 you replace SC with a turbo kit
#9 you run 300+ hp and lust for more more more
#10 you decide a new suspension will really wake up the sled
#11 you decide you need some lightweight parts
#12 you realize you have $30,000 in the sled and cant sleep at night thinking about the next mod
#13 You buy your sled dinner and talk to it by candle light in the evenings
#14 your wife leaves you
#15 you dont care
#16 you lose the house in the impending divorce
#17 you dont care
#18 she decides to stick teh dagger in and go after the sled.
#19 your left broke, sledless, and homesless....all because you swapped a windshield out
