Does anybody have the stiffer spring number for the front shock??????Got that, center shock with heavy spring and kit, did that. It's the very rear shock, the clicker that seems to have about 1/2" of free play/slop up and down at the beginning of the stroke before it does anything. I didn't notice it before i did the kit. Guys with or without, does your REAR shock do that, is it normal, did you do anything to the clicker when you installed the star kit?

The yamaha spring is no longer available. You can use this BRP spring, part # 503192217. Inside diameter is a little bigger but it gets the job done.

The heavier Yamaha spring is off an RX1 and there's still a few floating around. I found a new one on ebay a month or so ago. I sent to Star with the center shock for rebuild and shim to prevent suspension damage if the limiter straps break. The rear clicker shock is at Hygear now for rebuild, revalve and bigger hose. They supposedly have a good valve spec for the rear shock running in a Star suspension. The star kit has clearly freed up the CK rear skid with full travel and no sag. With the star kit and both shocks revalved, the XTX should finally ride the best it possibly can.Just ordered the doo spring $45.00 from doo dealer. Thanks guys!!!!

The Warrior uses a 4kg-mm spring can that be used in the XTX? Optional 3.0 to 5.5

I've installed the Warrior centre shock in both the Nytro and Apex XTX. Works good and the shock doesn't blow threw the stroke at all. It's also is about 1/2 inch shorter so it lowers the front of the sled, which in my opinion makes it handle better. The Warrior uses a 4kg-mm spring can that be used in the XTX? Optional 3.0 to 5.5

I bought the 3 kg spring for the middle shock from Pioneer which is Yamaha # 8ES 47337 00 00 , to go with the Star kit .I've installed the Warrior centre shock in both the Nytro and Apex XTX. Works good and the shock doesn't blow threw the stroke at all. It's also is about 1/2 inch shorter so it lowers the front of the sled, which in my opinion makes it handle better.
may have it too tight , as there is very little bottoming .
The ride is getting better with every addition , and adjustment .

Star kit is almost finished in the XTX. Heavier Doo Spring on the center shock not sure how much preload to give it about a inch from the top of the threads now. Got the 5 position adjusters but they look back wards to me. They are labeled left and right but to go from soft to medium you would have to crank them towards the spring rather then away.

I got my shocks revalved and the doo spring from star and after riding it all last season with just the kit done, all I can say is you have to do the complete set up. The kit itself works good but with the shocks done and heavier spring its a whole other level. I can pound it now on rough trails, I am riding way faster on beat up trails and it takes it with ease. In my opinion, it is really the only thing you need to do to an xtx to make it better.

See I don't get what star is saying about the xtx skid sagging a lot, heck mine is anything but sagging, and I have it on the softest setting,if his kit softens it up how the heck do you than keep it from bottoming out,and how do you keep the front end down under power thru a corner?
