Had these on order and now Cat is not releasing them due to problems with them. Anyone know exactly why?

I knoooooow.. . not cat forum but as you all know yamaha has nothing out and I was getting these for the led's. Going for the white ones to match sidewinder.

they had a melting issue with the wiring or box....supposedly this is now rectified...verify its new stock...

fyi they dont look like many of the pics floating around which shows them as a matte finish...they are glossy..

Thanks SJ. Glossy is fine. I like the fact that they will be plug and play unlike the powermadds which I know you have from your other posts.

Thanks for the info again Sj. How much total do you have in the powermadds ?

I have $118 in lot my powermadd sentimental, mounts, and leds. Might have a few more dollars into wiring but shouldn't be much

you can take a 2 prong harness like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Gauge-2-...rs-/381565296008?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368 and attach to the powermadds and you have the same setup as the cat ones...
Sj what about these here for multiple accessories and booking the guards up

Be careful of SAE splitters. I ordered one on ebay last year and the polarity did not switch rigth from 1 end to the other. If you get one make sure you check the polarity with a meter before hooking something to it.

The cat guards say arctic cat on them. The powermadd you can also add mirrors to. I would get the powermadd ones over the cat ones. I just got my led's in the mail today for the powermadd ones and they are very bright. Almost to the point they might make oncoming traffic mad at night lol.

Also when wiring to the accessory plugs if you have to run wires up to the dash should they be covered in aluminum sheath? Everything else seems to be wrapped there lol

I would consider an aluminum sheath for the jumper wire from the port running it up to the handlebar area...Im going to run a skidoo heated riser bag..http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Prong-Arc...ash=item43d9812ca5:g:~HkAAOSwBLlVDBBl&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arctic-Cat-...ash=item462d91f586:g:geoAAOSwxCxT1n-j&vxp=mtr

hopefully the harness makes it up to my riser...then the splitter...my bag heater...leds...and heated shield port..

and yes..I think an aluminized sheath might be a good idea for the run up...of course I haven't attempted this yet ...but this is my idea

I don't think 24" will make it to your bag. It might be close. you may be able to find longer cords then 2' on ebay. It might take some searching though.

This seller has some good deals on 1ft extensions. Note don't buy 10GA ones I did that in 2015 wayyy overkill lol. http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odk...0.H0.XSAE+connectors.TRS0&_nkw=SAE+connectors

I also saw this when searching for 'battery tender extension' http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-2-Pin-SAE...ttery-Tender-Harness-to-Charger-/111729158395 it's a 3' extension.
