- 2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
I read were a guy had problems and finally figured out 1 1/2 in. was needed. When I did mine I got 1 1/8 in. and left it. Well that worked for a while and one day I was checking and the fins were scraped.
I added an old slider to get it up to 1 1/2. This has held so far.
I don't notice any ride difference or bottoming damage with this.
There are so many posts here about the cooler it's hard to find this info. The guy I believed had pictures and had the dealer doing the work. He was lucky as the dealer took the bite and had to redo cooler and add clearances, etc.
Just taper the protectors down as you get near the upper wheels and away from the cooler or your track will hit more.

I run stock track, etc. with Woodys 1.325's that they recommend and track pattern and amount they recommend.
From what I read the Ripsaw is softer then other tracks and the lugs bend allowing the studs to penetrate up more. So this is why all the clearance is neccessary.

Don't know about what a Cobra might change. Figure the damage its doing and build them up some more.
