Do the ball joints have to be pressed out of the a arms or can you wack them out.

Gonna repaint them out of the a arms.
I dont believe they are removable. When they wear you need a new a-arm.

Ok thanks guess they will have to tape them when powder coating.
Powder coating typically involves baking at a very high temperature so anything rubber, plastic, etc will melt and any grease or lube will also likely come out and ruin the job or the ball joint.
I say this as a man that has never seen the actual part in person, but I do believe this to be accurate.
The joints likely press in, but then there should also be a retaining ring to lock in place hence the request for a pic. You may well be able to remove them.

The Joints are molded into the a-arms. Not replaceable.

why would you spend the money to powder coat them? i painted mine and then cleared with emron clear and have 1800 miles through cornstalks weeds and brush and still look like new. when i scuffed the black coating i didnt feel it was really that tough. just my .02
