Thinking about getting a slip on for the Nytro, The Barkers unit looks pretty good but has anyone ran one..any performance gains? Some perfromance shops are saying the Duel outlet slip ons make more power then the singles..i can't see it making much of a difference. Barker's is Claiming 12HP with there Muffler/PC 5 Mapping.

i just put one on but havent had a chance to ride it yet. Its way louder then stock thats for sure. i thought i seen a dyno somewhere of the slip on with a programer and it only showed a gain of 8hp. I love how the sled maintains a stock look with this can over others.

a 8Hp gain is pretty good, how is the build quality..looks really good in the pictures.

build quality looks top notch. I ordered mine off of ebay came from www.woodwardspecialties.com. at the time they had it 12% off and free shipping and handling, souldnt pass that up. But there was no instructions in the box as far as how the mounting bracket is placed on the pipe and where you bolt it on to the sled at. But i watched the youtube vid of snowtrx tv installing one, wrote down the order and then a couple times of trial and error i finally got it to work. now im itching to get it out on the snow and see how it sounds out in the open. In a closed in shop its loud, but its got a throughty growl that i love

as of a month ago, they did not have power commander mapping. I asked them about the fuel controller if it was mapped using any intake on or what and this is what tim barker said "the controller is a Dobeck style that EHS Racing and I developed for our exhaust systems. It will add 6 hp over not running a fuel controller. If you add the k&n you can adjust the controller for the amount of fuel you need."

I was Talking to Spence at www.Sledwerx.com and he sad he has a PC 5 Program for intake and Slip-on.

i've got one on my 2011 nytro mtx and it is louder than hell without the quite core. With it its not too bad. Louder than the ultra q i ran last year on a my xtx. Sounds good and looks good in my opinion.

Another member on here tried the Barker with other mods ( header, plugs, filters, pc3 and ign nodule ) ..it only gained 4hp on top of those other proven mods...I doubt it will gain 6-8hp on it's own with or without mapping...from what I've seen, a slipon will gain 3-4hp...to gain more than 8hp a header is required. Personally I think the Barker is way too loud..103db without a noise reducer and 94 with a NR...there are quieter options that will give you the same gains IMO
