Barn of Parts Solid Axle 4th wheel kit.....now in stock

Quick update with a few pictures! Still waiting on my axle bolts to arrive, but should have whole kits ready next week.

Axle kit will utilize one long 1/2" bolt. Rail slot is 1/2" so no rail mods needed. Only mod needed is to drill out the axle adjuster hole from M10 to 1/2". By bumping up to the 1/2" bolt for an axle, the design is quite robust.

Design accepts wheels with 6004 bearings. Wheels that have 6205 bearings just require a bearing swap to 6304 which has the 20mm ID. This versatility allows for many to utilize all the wheels they may already have in the current wheel set ups.

Preliminary pricing

Solid Axle kit...$140
6304 bearings...$8.50 each
Wheels with 6304 bearings installed...$35 each

Buyers can pretty much mix and match with what they want to do. You can keep the tri hub or add independent wheels inside.

Here's a little overview video I made up.

The 6205 bearings are a larger ID...not smaller like I stated in video. The 6304 steps down to the smaller 20mm ID to fit my axle.

Looks like a pretty solid mounting solution for 4 wheels. Nice job.

For guys that don't want outside wheels I plan to offer the axle setup with a shorter bolt, so you can still have the beefier 1/2" diameter axle bolt.
