I'm looking at the shorai battery for my RX-1. My only concern is their performance in extreme cold (-20F etc) . ever have any issues?

Lots of us up here in Canada where it gets freaking cold (I am in central Canada and have seen -51c) use Napa Glass Matt batteries.

When I put mine in my Phazer it honestly turned over almost twice as fast. I know about 5 others using it also here in Canada with zero trouble and great starts. I don't know if its the best one but I know for a fact it works damn good. Was not cheap.

$120 dealer cost when I got it....
What's the CCA for that battery and does the size fit the Phazer well. Do you have a part #?
thanks,

,
So what is the info on the Napa Glass Matt batteries?

double check it will fit but this is what I run

There are other batteries out there, but I know this 1 works good. I know 5 or 6 other people using it also.

I know there is more width & height in there , maybe Napa has a bigger one if they go off dimensions rather than part#

Thanks for the info Mike.
I notice the NAPA one you listed only has 200 CCA the same as stock; but it works better?

Yes.

I used to sell batteries & don't always go by what the specs say as I feel they are sometimes misleading.

Bottom line is my stock battery died & the glass matt hasn't. Cranking speed increased for sure.

I don't know why its a better battery but it just IS.

If it doesnt work good enough just return it. I'm sure Napa would take it back.
