When are you guy changing your bearing?
I have 17500km on my 2016 stx dx and the only bearing I change was the bearing in the break caliber because when repacking it I seen a little rust..
I do repack all the bearing every year.
But have not changed the top or bottom bearing in chain case.
The 16 do have the updated jack shaft but still the wobble bearing.
Just wondering if u guys were changing out the bearing in chain case and jack shaft bearing behind secondary and at what millage?

I did all mine around 8000mi I believe. Inspect and clean regrease annually though.

Maybe I should change my top and lower chain case bearing and the one behind secondary? Change the brake side on last year.I did all mine around 8000mi I believe. Inspect and clean regrease annually though.
I also repack all bearing yearly.

None of mine were bad i just did it as preventive maintenance. Always risk doing that even.Maybe I should change my top and lower chain case bearing and the one behind secondary? Change the brake side on last year.

I assumed that the two bearings in the chaincase are constantly lubricated by the fluid... wouldn't that add to their longevity? The two on the other side are the ones that I feel sorry for! Brake dust, belt dust, snow, ice, water, and maybe a little salt. That's some pretty tough conditions.

Right but then there is the wobblebearing in chaincase. Very bad reputation.I assumed that the two bearings in the chaincase are constantly lubricated by the fluid... wouldn't that add to their longevity? From what I have seen, yes. The 16 and up sleds do not have the wobble bearing....Did they got rid of wobble bearing on 2017 Viper?

16 has it 17 up its gone. Have not heard a single failure of new bearing. I may upgrade when doing my spring Maintainence. May need everything including back case and shaft though. Not sure of that. From what I have seen, yes. The 16 and up sleds do not have the wobble bearing....

That's not a bad thing to change the back of the tank, didn't they beef up the mounting tabs on them?16 has it 17 up its gone. Have not heard a single failure of new bearing. I may upgrade when doing my spring Maintainence. May need everything including back case and shaft though. Not sure of that.

I never had a problem with the wobble bearing 17000 km so I think I would just put back the same for me as I have the updated jack shaft
