All,
What is the normal position for the belt in the secondary. I have 3000 miles / 4000+km on my original belt. It has always sat flush with the top of the secondary plates and I have always noticed some belt squeal. I always thought the belt should sit 1/8 of an inch above the plates but maybe this is normal. Is it time to change my belt?
Also, Is there a trick to get that belt off the secondary? Every time I've had to be towed, it was a 2 person operation to get the belt off. Back on the older Vipers, you could just turn the secondary and it would open up, and it would make it really easy to take the belt off. Is there a similar trick for the phazer clutch?
Thanks!

You do it same as viper except turn the inner sheave and pull up on belt at same time.1/8 above is a little high especially if you have reverse.Shoot for a 1/16 using shims. If you do this you will double the life of your belt easy.

Turn it same direction as the viper as well? I believe it's clockwise.

Yes if I remember right but the inner one.
