You can check http://www.yamaha-motor.com/partviewer/?ls=sport for diagrams and part numbers. Not a bad place to look for locations of things or how they go together.

Today i did a really careful lookup of the clutch but couldnt finde any problem, but when i was about to clean up dropped a screwdriver into the belly of the snowmobile and when i put my hand down there i could feel something more. I pulled it up from under the plate covering the coolant hose and this is what i found:

And here is how my clutch looks after a day of riding:

Im thinking the part i found might be nr12 in this picture:

But im not sure anyone got any idea?
best regards
Jeppe

By the picture to me it looks like the bushing in the secondary clutch, have a look there or item 12 in the primary.
Either way you should be able to see if the bushing is missing in either clutch, or just grap them and see how movement from side to side you get on the shaft.

The clutch has to come off the sled and be dismantled. This requires special tools. Probably time to go to the shop.

If you know somebody who has a spider puller for a Yammi & a long breaker bar then your good to go. Not sure what the torqe spec is on the Yamaha spider but my old Pooh was 235flbs + had "green" locktight, yikes!!!
With that amount of play, make sure you check your tower bushings, I believe they should be within three thou.
