do you know someone i could call and talk to?
are they louder then stock when trail driving?
do you need to double up head gaskets?
how does it all fit?
do you think it will hurt motor in the long run?

Bender Turbo

You could call Turbo Turtle(Greg) his partner has a Bender and he has ridden it. He will be a little biased though because he has an McXpress on his sled and he also sells them.

HEY BUCKEYE//////////

I'm not biased any more . My partner sold his Bender and bought a MCEXPRESS i'm installing it this week. ps still waiting for units I think they will be in the first of Dec. I have 30 on order. Thanks TURBO TURTLE///////// IF YOUR LOOKING TO SEE THE COMPLETE INSTALLATION MANUAL GO TO MY SIGHT www.northeastturbos.com andclick on installations (NEW) and you can se it all thanks the TURTLE////////

WHY HE DID NOT LIKE BENDER TURBO

It is very noisey. It's mounted in the rear of the sled. It did not spool up as quick as the MCXPRESS It had to many xtra parts for operating.axtra fuel pumps.electric oil pump. 2 stage switching for high and low boost you have to change fuel and the air jetting to run at yhe 220 hp setting . and most important the MCXPRESS was quicker all the way through the hp range.

What does MCXPRESS use for fuel pumps and oil source?

What do they use for selecting boost?

The jet you have to change only takes a few seconds, it's not the carb jets. Yes, to be safe Bender recomends higher octane at higher boost. Doesn't MC require an additional head gasket? Sounds to me like both scenarios are a PITA, just PITA's of a differrrent sort.

I can't remember from the dyno numbers but didn't MC need more boost to make similar HP?

mcxpress ANSWER'S

There is only one fuel pump electric. Yes they do recomend a head gskt. change and it is included in the kit. I sell a dash mounted varible boost control ill post a picture at the end of post. It mounts ondash and does not require any special wiring or solenoids. Runs on vacume and boost pressure you can run at 12lbs boost with racing fuel at 235 hp dyno tested hp, or 8 lbs at 210 hp. on pump high test Thanks (TURBO TURTLE)//////////////

ps. I forget the photo

You ca also go to my web sight at www.northeastturbos.com and click on new instruction manual and the manual is there for you to look at //////////

Doesn't Bender only have one pump too? They keep the stock one as a back up, but if you wanted you could remove it.

Good numbers!

What's high test? Is that the same as what we call premium here?

Cool dial. It's a dial right? Does it have stops or do you just turn it and watch the gauge? Looks kind of stealth.
