Hit a ditch at night on my grizzly doing 105kmh.
Cartwheeled the quad a couple hundred feet and bent the frame. broke the rear diff right out. broke the rear driveshaft. wrecked front and back racks and bumper. is it worth it to fix it or just part it out?
what do you think?
Its a 2006 660 silvertip edition btw.

It dont look to bad. I would give it a try.
Thats jsut because I had to bend everything back together to get it home.
The rear diff mounts are broke right off. I can lift it out.
And it cartwheeled so the front bumper pushed it, and the plate the winch mounths to pushed into my frame and bent that back 4 inchs.

Wow, tough break. I had my 07 Camo 700 come off a trailer last May at 90km. 2 cartwheels on the pavement and a few loop-de doos in the ditch. Wasn't busted up as bad as yours. Still driveable but all 4 wheels bent, racks, handlebars, A-arms, and a few other things. The frame was a maybe. No obvious damage but the dealer said he couldn't be sure until they started bolting the new parts on and taking measurements. The insurance company didn't want to chance it and wrote me a check for $11,300.00. Tough call on fixing yours. I guess it depends on how much you think you can part it out for verses how much you think it's gonna cost to get it to drive straight again. A new frame is around $1100.00. If yours is bent and busted, that's almost a must if you want your driveshafts and CV joints to line up properly.
Just my thoughts.

Not to kick a man when he's down, but this is why insurance is so important. The very nature of our hobby makes having insurance "Mandatory" in my opinion. I wonder what the difference in cost between full coverage3 and just theft was. Was it worth it???
Good Luck, I hope it all works out for you.
