Bent front arms

I checked the caster on my Nytro and the RH side is 23deg, while the LH side is 15deg.
Thats with my new CR arms, just wanted to finnish the season.
Now i'm going to replace the subframe, just as mentioned, these subframes do tweak, especialy when you clip a rock and bend the arms.

Yup, that's totally what happens. If you had been able to ride in some nice powder you would have noticed that carving right would have been way easier and more controllable. Also, if you were able to adjust your caster, you could adjust the left side back to 23 degrees. Maybe I should start making A arms.

I would buy a set and give them a try!

Really? Why not just fix the problem by replacing the subframe. If its bent/tweaked or broken, its going to get worse. Maybe even unsafe. Trying to cover up worn out or broken parts with new other parts just doesn't make any sense.

Fishstick, welcome to the forum. Please fill in your location......forum rules. The adjustment is not to cover up worn out or broken parts, rather to allow adjustability. Best to educate yourself on the Nytro subframe problems. Slightly tweaked subframes are still fully functional and if you replaced one every time it was less than perfect you would go broke.

No worries, been on a Nytro since 08, also own a 11 & 12. I know the sled quite well thanks. Adjustability is good but I personally wouldn't cover up a "tweaked" rim with a new tire.

In my case you would never know the subframe is tweaked by looking at it visualy, untill you measure and put a degree protractor on the spindle.
I had the front appart and all looks very good, till you measure. So like mountiantech said, not all subframes need replacing cause they are tweaked abit. A large amount of Nytro's out there are running around on tweaked subframes to start with, garranteed.
I'll be replacing mine and will jig the tweaked one to straighten it out, then keep it as a backup for next time around.

BTW, was out in Pemberton 2nd week in May and a couple of times previosly with the new a-arms and tweak subframe and noticed no handling issues with the tweak subframe, still handled like a typical Nytro but in my case i have the better a-arms then the stock junkers, improving the Nytro handling. So its unlikely you would know if your subframe is SLIGHTLY tweaked.

So having the ability to adjust the caster is nice so during the season should it fall off because its slightly tweaked would be very beneficial.
Like i said, some subframes should be replaced while other don't need too....unless you like burning money...hahaha

I don't know if you know the area but was up Brandywine and Rutherford. It's an icefield so wide open riding with huge intimmidating climbs. Coastal mountian's, Whistler area. Same area Chris Brown is setup.

Grizztracks on here makes a gusset kit. As far as the Sea to Sky corridor is concerned, I lived there for 18 years and all the areas you mentioned are very familiar to me along with a whole lot more. Great place to ride.

So you would know the area very well then, funny you moved away. Hard to beat that area for sledding or as a matter all year round activities. Awsome area to live.

Grizztracks, ok thanks.

Life is too short to spend it all in one place. 18 years was long enough. Great area but lacking alot of things. Central Oregon is an amazing place to live, and Hawaii is a whole other chapter.

Hawaii???
Is there sledding in Hawaii haha.
I'm a northern baby, love my 4 seasons and without winter and snow , it just wouldn't be the same.
Though i do love to travel to them nice southern places in winter but only for a week or two then i miss home(winter and snow).

Yup, same here.
