Can someone tell me which is the strongest, most durable anti-ratchet driver to use on my Mountain Apex? Ate my stock one up first day in deep powder running my track at factory specs. Tightened it up and ate the Hyfax. I am not D&Red yet so a 7 tooth will be the necessary size I think. Suggestions anyone? :o| :o| :o|

Oh yeh, I forgot to say that the antis were running the track, the extros were not touching the track nubs at all. Looked like the antis were not pressed on the hex jack shaft in the right position. (I.E. 6 possible choices and the way these were placed them in front of the extros) They were stock from the factory this way.

WhalBros is not even round, more like oval. Every other has to be trued on a latte, of course then the other one also has to be trued as well. Some of them also wiggles from side to side when rotating the drive axel. I will never buy WahlBros again.

You can use the extroverts that is stock on Ski-Doos, they are white in color, and if you don't mind having doo parts in your sled they work fine. They were about half the price of the WahlBros at the local Ski-Doo dealer.

Have almost 6000km on my Wahls now, 4500kms of those with boost. The leading edge of the teeth are wearing in a pattern that looks just like the profile of the Avid teeth!

Im guessing they are not the 7 tooth. Its the 7 tooth wahls that are the worst.

Freak, they are the 7 tooth. We trued them up on the lathe and they have been fine. I know of others that have had issues though. Next time I will probably use the CNCed Avids.

It is not that my whalbros 9T 2.52" are shot, they still hold together. What I don't like is all the work that has to be done prior to install because the whalbros are not made perfect to start with.

Correct me if 'm wrong (I'm guessing not though) but; aren't RX FUN and rxrider (Doo drivers) referring to 2.52" pitch while, the rest of you guys are talking the new 3" pitch drivers designed for the APEX's Maverick track?

So am I!! What the heck would I be doing with 7t 2.52s on my sled Jim??!! 3'' pitch drivers and tracks were around long before the Maverick.
