Those look like Curve XS skis.

As for what's best you'll get a lot of different opinions. I've never used the Curve XS skis but I've used both Slydogs and Yamaha MTX skis. Personally I like the MTX skis, which is what I'm using on my 136".

My MTX skis were takes off from a Nytro out west. They come up for sale occasionally cheap.

If you are tying to improve floatations, one of the bigger skid plates like the one from Skinz help a lot too.

the problem is finding a pair of mtx skiis used theyre hard to come by, cause what do they go for brand new? voda2000

I think I paid about $200 with shipping from Alberta to Manitoba. Greyhound is reasonable for shipping.

If you can find them used try to get the bolts and rubber pad with them as they are differnt from the stock skis. Also if they aren't from a Phazer or Nytro then you will need to buy spacers too. The loops and carbides are interchangeable with the stock skis.

I also really like my mtx skis, I have snowtrackers on them and I really like them on and off trail better then the slydogs I had before.

what about these skiis guys?

yamaha tuner skiis, "Brand new take off skis off my 2016 Viper in perfect condition only loaded in the trailer and back off. Comes with bolts and mounting pads"

Might want to check dealer price, that seems pretty close.

Apparently they are a good ski. My dad is going to be trying them on his RS Vector this season.

They also come in two widths but the MTX skis are still wider.

yeah I believe they're non mtx, he said 300 cash for the skiis. not sure how they will perform back-country. just wanted some opinions was thinking of picking them up today..

I have some used MTX skis, used curves and also some used C/A Pro. The C/A Pro are what are shown on that white phazer you posted. Send me a PM if still looking for a set and I can get you some pricing.

Yes I'm interested what do you got and how much ? I really need some mtx skiis or a good wider ski let me know you're prices ! Thanks !

I tried the MTX skis on my Phazer and did not like them. I put on Curve XS and am very happy with them in the powder.

With the MTX skis you have to buy new hardware (axle and spacers) to mount them as the ski mount is wider than stock one. With Curves it uses the existing hardware. Right there its cheaper and a better ski .

So we got 3 types of backcountry skiis , mtx, curve xs, and some C&A pro hmm. It's a toss up beteween the curve xs and the c&a I guess !

Really what do the curve xs look like ? What's the manufacture ?
