No idea. It was just installed and we have no snow yet. We ride together and I’m TD tuned so we will compare soon enough. I suspect I’m in trouble this year lolDo you know how much it dropped temp vs stock? How was the flow

I watch my intake temps whenever running hard or following someone closely. The factory setup will plug very quickly from snow dust. I think this would be a great option to try.

Awesome! Just the ticket for cooler intake temps. I emailed them on getting that cooler but got no response back. That big intercooler comes with their 340HP setup stage 3 kit, and judging by the look of that huge turbo heat shroud, I bet he has the Stage 3 MCX setup with larger Mitsubishi 19T turbo that goes along with it.
Hurricane has their secondary intercooler coming soon to lower intake temps also. I told Dave I wanted to make sure to get me on the list for one. It too should cut intake temps down to reasonable levels.

A buddy of mine just did an Mcx install on his winder. I must say I like the bigger intercooler.
I wish MCX sold these intercooler separate from their stage 3 kits - without their extra fuel rail and with standard OEM 34mm bov outlet from the plenum instead of that bov from the mit. 19t . That would be a hit with people with other tunes than mcx.
Does the new center hood section that comes with the stage 3 kit fill in the gaps between the side panels and intercooler? Is see this beeing an issue i deep powder if not closed
