Dave how many pounds of boost is your BOV good for? I like the idea of it being plastic and lighter.
From what I have read/told by Alpine Motorsports not more than 15lbs. If you go www.turbosmart.com.au it will tell you about them. They have a fix for the plastic ones, and they are adjustable. But if you are going to get one to try. Go to your local VW DEALER. Found them in Edmonton AB, VW wanted less than $50cdn for dealers, retail $70. Also there is 2 different ones, make sure you get the latest version. Then weld a 1" nipple somewhere into your intake side. Then try it.

BOV
I've got the VW one on my sled and it has held up to 17# so far. I just welded a 1" 90 degree elbow on the opposite side of the intercooler of the air intake an hooked it up with a short piece of 1" hose. I'm thinking that if you put it on the colder side the heat shouldn't get to it since it's made of plastic, Ken.

Can't believe I haven't done this yet . Got 2 Powderlites (B.O.V.'s)units on the way .............Maybe it 'll help with the intercooler issues i've been having with the bender turbo ...............2nd one cracked out at the seam. The cpr unit would hold up to 100 psi I think - no probs with it .
