Hey all. I've got an '07 Attak GT. The wheels are fine after 2400 miles but the bearings are dry. Some are a little sloppy. My question:
Would I be alright popping the seals, cleaning the bearings with brake-clean, air-drying them, and then greasing them? OR Should I opt for new wheels that have removable bearings?
Generally, I'm not cheap about these things but it is before Christmas
Thanks

I cleaned and greased mine last year, just do like you said...pop the seals, clean and grease. Still good this year. Keep an eye on the big back idlers though you cant pop the seals on them....good for 5-6k

Thanks for the tip.

I too have one wheel that seemed awful dry when I had the sled in the garage a couple weeks ago. I'll try cleaning and greasing it as mentioned!
