Hey guys I was doing my oil change today and when I took my belly pan off there were two bolts sitting on the pan itself. I dont know where they came off of and I have had a couple of bolts fall off it early in the season that I found in the driveway. Anyone else have this happen to them? My shock mount bolt was also loose after only two rides and thankfully I found that before it fell off. I havent had any problems with the sled other then the bent subframe so I really dont know what is up. I looked it all over and can not find anything that looks loose or has a missing bolt.
Thanks for the help

If your actual shock bolts where loose that would be your dealer. They install them after they take the sleds out of the crate.

I'm replying about what ksc185 had said about haveing loose shock mount bolts. I'm sure the bolts you found are just bolts dropped during assembly.

What did the bolt look like my buddy found one in his bellypan too. It was like A 8mm head about 20mm long 5/16 x 3/4 for you imperial guys...
wonder if they are shipping bolts or sumptin?

FYI- I posted this a while ago, but I uncrated mine myself. I did in fact tighteen the shock bolts. After 1 ride one nut was gone?? It seems some guys have 5-6 threads showing and some have 1/2 -1 threads showing. The guys with 1/2-1 (shorter bolts)need to loctite them. All I'm saying is perhaps the dealers are not at fault.
There are essentially 21 bolts the dealers install.
Shocks - 4
skis - 2
rear bumper - 4
front bumper -4
front belly pan - 3
handguards - 4
It would be unlikely that one of these cosmetic bolts ended up in the belly pan. Also you would almost have to try to get one of the crate bolts in there.
I have mine apart for an oil change. If someone could snap a picture of the bolts found I will look to see where it might have come from. Also I can check mine for loose bolts.
Thanks,
