You can also bet that they havent gotten everything perfected yet.
I saw the video and it looks pretty sweet. Any time the rider was on the gas the skis were off the ground.

Wasn't impressed either. Mostly because of what the footage was. Running it in water isn't even close to the best way to show off horsepower...
I'd rather see it on a grass drag strip.

I believe it is tested on water to load up the driveline. Has similar effect to pointing it up a hill in 2' of powder.
That was Brad Story and Shain Stanger from Utah who have built the Boondocker system and will now head to the dyno next week for more results and testing.
Brad claimed it would run approx 10mph more track speed on the grass than in the 8-10" of water they irrigated. Approx 400 ' of wet stuff which is all that is available this time of year.
Nice to have choices.

Ahh interesting. I did not know that. Wasn't questioning the power of the thing, just that for the average bear it isn't the best way to show hp. That would make sense though. I'd like to call them mon. and see how far they are in making it production (and of course how much $).

I would think the water is a good choice,
who wants to burn up hyfax just to test a sled... seems
smart for when there is no snow.
