Hi guys.

I've been doing a bunch of searching on here to find where people are mounting their gauges.

I really like the OSP mount that goes over the factory pod but I was hoping to get this done this week. Being in Canada, it generally takes 2-3 weeks to get something from the U.S.

I plan to use the AEM gauges in universal pods at this point.

Any advise would be great. Thanks.

I have seen them mounted on the raised console pieces of the dash... i believe boost-it turbos commonly months them this way and it looks sharp one on each side

This is the set up I used and it works and looks great. The only thing I didn't like was the boost gauge in this picture, I already changed out the boost gauge to a 0-15 psi for a larger more accurate reading, the -30/+20 is too small to read while riding. The AEM AFR is perfect. The mount from OSP fits great and does not rattle or shake. I can see them very clear from a standing position. Power is tied into the cigarette plug on the left. Turns off by key only. I could not find a line that stopped with the kill switch.

Mine are on the handlebar risers. That way the hood is still only one harness plug to remove it. Plus my hid's take a lot of room under the hood already.

I used autometer pods on either side with a simple L bracket that I made from some scrap aluminum.

Thanks WV, that's what I needed to see. That will work great for me.

I have seen the bar riser mounts but I'm a sit down guy and I want to be able to see my gauges.

Adams574. That's the OSP mount I would love to make it simple but at $75 in the U.S. it will end up costing me close to $150 Canadian time I convert the dollar, shipping and border fees. And I don't want to wait 2 weeks plus for it to get here. They need a Canadian distributor for their products.

Here's mine on my Nytro, same on my Viper (not by the sled now).20141104_162228.jpg Mounted to the bars. And like FAMILYMAN, the hood is still only one plug to disconnect.
I'll get a pic when I get home tomorrow.

I also redid the wiring on them to make it all a single plug to keep it simple to take the hood off. I use deutsch connectors but you could use anything you have available. I like the deutsch ones because they are water tight and reusable.

I was thinking the same. My buddy has a business working on hot rods. He's getting me the gauges and said he had lots of different plugs we could use to make the hood easy to detach.

Have both gauges & gauge cups in stock.

Its not a boost gauge, but I used the plastic enclosed mount because I liked the finished look of it.
