I’m curious about spots you have found boost leaks on your sleds. Mine was in a very unlikely spot on inside of charge tube only found it by hooking up my air compressor to it. Was running the evo stage 4 tune at the time 14.8-16psi up at elevation. Anyone else have some on boost side or exhaust side they have found?

Not uncommon. @DranttelSS had the same happen to him running stock boost.

Do they rub on something in that spot?

Was hearing an exhaust leak Friday, so inspected yesterday morning and found the downpipe broken at the flexible.

It’s on inside of charge tube just before the airbox going to throttle bodies unlikely run spot from what I can see.Do they rub on something in that spot?

The boosted nytros use to always fail at the flexible bellows too so can’t say I’m too surprised. A bad enough exhaust leak usually sounds funny and if you cover your exhaust sled will keep running. This and large loss of boost too.

So the tubes are just failing there. I run aftermarket charge tubes but was wondering if I should check them for rubbing there. Doesn’t sound like the issue. It’s on inside of charge tube just before the airbox going to throttle bodies unlikely run spot from what I can see.

That's in the same spot mine failed and rubbing is not an issue in that location.

I switched to Evo tubes but also thought it was a funny spot for it to fail on the stock ones.
