I am posting this here because nobody is going to know how to keep their feet dry like mountain guys.
Currently I'm rocking some Trukke Powersports and they have been very good even in the mountains, but they need replaced.
I was going to buy some Klims however I'm not a big fan of laces on my sled boots and the Klims aren't cheap ....also the liner does not come out on the Adrenaline GTX boot I was looking at.
FXR and HMK seem to equal wet feet based on the experience of my riding buddies.
That brought me to Sorel Alpha Trac. I've always found Sorels to be great boots. I'm wondering if anyone has these and how are they?
Any other options that work well??

I can say good things only about my Klim Adrenaline GTX because my feet have been dry during and after every single ride. Highly recommended...!
Due to an old injury in my right knee, I have got limited blood circulation in my right foot. Because of this I struggle to keep my right foot warm if I ride in extremely cold conditions. No matter what type of boots you wear or what type of insulation they have got, if the blood circulation (= heat source) is limited - then you will freeze and eventually get some serious toe injuries...! The solution to this problem is Hotronic Foot Warmers - a battery driven heat element that is built into an insole. I have tested a set (in my Klim Adrenaline GTX) during the past winter and I am nothing short of impressed, with temperature, battery capacity as well as quality. Now I can ride in -30 degree Celcius for five hours without even thinking about my right foot.

The mountain riding really puts the test to the boots.
It's the only riding I get wet and cold feet.I'm going to get a pair of the klim adrenaline boots this fall.My brother and my buddies that ride in the mountains love them and have no more problems with wet feet or sweating feet making them cold.

revster, you won't HAVE to remove the liner because it won't be wet! My feet SWEAT like crazy. I trade off every other day with my work boots because they are damp at the end of the day. I no longer haul my fancy boot dryer on trips. This is my 2nd pair of Adrenalines and the newer style. Way better boot. Better support, laces stay tight and my feet are warm and DRY! I use KLim's socks and at the end of the daythey are dry and the boots are too. Just buy'em, you'll love 'em!

Yeah I was worried about the sweat factor and them not drying over night. But good to know thanks..

My buddy got the new HMK BOA's and his feet are always dry. They are a bit bulky for my liking.

I had the Trukke boots for a couple of years and then switched to the Klim Adrenaline's. No comparison IMHO. More money, but well spent. My feet sweat like crazy and are always dry with the Klim's.
After using both, I believe that laces are better than the pull strap, quick connects that the Trukke's have.

Klim Adrenaline all the way. The real deal. I had the Radiums first and sold them and got Adrenaline boots. Adrenalines are light and comfortable with te right amount of support. The Radiums are extremely stiff and bulky. Didn't feel right on me.

After searching around, I bought these.

They were about the same money as Klims, but I was looking for a boot for more than just riding. The Klim and HMK style boots looked too stiff for that. I've been very happy with the Baffins, super warm and perfectly dry, removable liners and decent support. I also like the fact they are Canadian made.
