I put it on this year no leaks and I’m using the stock rov. 1500 miles on it so far. But to be fair I had 5800 miles on the stock oil tank gasket with no leaks. This year in Quebec it was so cold my oil pushed out between my oil filter gasket on 2 mornings.

ha!! Fabio your not going to believe this but my sled is in the shop right now with an oil tank leak...we got brand new sleds and quality control didn't pick up on the missing gasket material on the oil tank...kind of makes you wonder at bit...what else did they miss? Yamaha warranty is picking up the repair, hopefully they put in a better product. SO glad I didn't run out of oil on the trail..I guess nobody is perfect, including manufacturers...me...Still love my sled!!
Anyone else got an oil leak with the 2020 sidewinders?

Well, I am willing to try it. Because cleaning and having to re seal is a pain in the #*$&@...So question is, BOP gasket, is it working out?
I would say that everything I got from barn of parts has been perfect and well though out!
Honestly I cannot see this not working...

I have not had any negative feedback to date on the gasket. One on my fathers sled has held all season and it was abused with 50 psi pressure tests in fall when i would purposely simulate frozen roll over valve. It would leak a little at that extreme pressure but once pressure relieved it sealed up.

the good news is that there was oil leaking and continued to leak, meaning it didn't run out of oil...avoided disaster. The dealer is on it and I'm sure they will fix in no time...it seems funny its a problem at all though...
I am not a mechanic, I wish I were and I wish I had a grasp of what it takes to work on these machines..I applaud people like Rockerdan, Travis and so many others who contribute to this web site with their knowledge, pictures, explanations and videos on how to do repairs, things to watch out for etc..snowmobilers are a breed apart...weather on the trail or on this and other sites...the volunteers who keep the trails in good shape, the club houses and spirit that goes on within the sport is nothing short of amazing.
