We had bad snow to ride on last weekend so decided to install the MPI turbos on both XTX's . Got most of it done over the weekend and just finished a few loose ends during the week plus a small test drive .
WOW these are going to be fun in the powder and we are going out today for the first good ride. Hats off to Matt and the MPI crew
for putting in the time on the installation instructions, they are super easy to follow. Super nice kit also.
We took our time with each step making sure hoses&wiring are routed nicely and bolts&clamps were all tight. Most importantly I feel good about whats under the hood and how its all set up to. During the install we set up one of the gopro's for a time elapsed video so we will have that posted soon . That should interesting seeing a 2 sled turbo install unfold in less then 5 min .

Well after a good day of boondocking I found one major issue with the mpi turbo I didn't expect. I have a blister on my hand from trying to hang on. no joke.

How long per unit for install?
How long you ask? LOL I might be the wrong person to ask on this topic, I am pretty picky with these things and known to really study things, over analyze things, etc. But we had about two 10 hour days over the weekend. Keep in mind we were in no rush, took lots of breaks, studied the parts, double check last steps, etc. We did both sleds at the same time , same step on both before advancing to the next step since we had all the correct tools out for that task. If I was to do it again I know the install would be ALOT faster. There is over 100 steps so don't be in a hurry here, take your time, your not putting together a BBQ grill here ! Yes the directions are VERY good MPI did a super job here with lots of pictures and not to many words so that's good for us guys that don't like reading a lot of instructions. We will get the video edited in the next few days and get a link on here.

That is a common problem along with crotch chaffing from being slid back in the seat - nothing a little Velcro can't fix
