After debating all summer on what to buy I bought a leftover 2014 LTX SE viper. I sold my Nytro a few weeks ago and had been waiting for September Rebates. I called last week on this 2014 because it had a very attractive internet price. Well from me calling they agreed to the deal and to my and their surprise the September Reabates are worse. Needless to say they stuck to their word and I bought the sled yesterday.
I'm very excited with my new sled and the upgrades will be starting very soon. I am still shocked that Yamaha has no good rebates going into the season to help sell all the left over vipers. Sucks for the dealerships.

Just reading online and comparing to pics. Good eye my friend. It is the MTN seat. Maybe built on late Friday afternoon. Lol! Its more narrow then the standard. Not sure if this is a pro or a con. It felt damn nice though sitting on it.Sure its a LTX SE it has a mountain seat?

The reason being when I buy a 129 or 137 I'm going to get a mountain seat , they look better in my opinion. Could you post a side view, If you find that you don't like the seat I'll buy it.

Looking at the picture it is the mountain seat. You got lucky cuz that is a $300 upgrade to your LTX. I put the mountain seat on my 15 LTX and love it way better than stock. I fit better on the sled with the mountain seat because it's a little taller and narrower. Highly recommend that seat.

Awesome! I did like the way it felt. I noticed it looked taller at time of purchase but didn't have another sled to compare too.Looking at the picture it is the mountain seat.
