If your driveshaft bearing is worn or the shaft is worn it may cause this

took apart and this clip that holds bearing wasnt in groove and the bearing was bout an eighth out from being fully seated, not sure what would cause this? mabe the way i set the shaft saver?

Something is really screwed. Pads should be hitting on rotor all the way to the top of rotor. Your pads are only using a small portion of the rotor and caliper is rubbing on most of rotor by the looks!

It doesn’t even look like a sidewinder rotor!

Here’s an old pic from beginning of season of mine just before I changed out the rotor because of wear on back side of rotor where it meets with bearing!

Looks very different from yours!

Mine is a 17 LTX-LE. Didn’t realize they use different rotors!

One thing for sure, your pads won’t last long with that rotor scraped by the caliper !

To me that would be an assembly issue, bearing wasn’t completely pressed in from factory.

That whole brake had to wobbling like crazy? Its very possible the wedge was not seated correctly and wobbled badly and pushed out that bearing retainer ring? OR before wedge install the brake/bearing itself was not seated correctly against the tunnel/onto shaft when installing 3 bolts that hold brake to tunnel.

The 17 LE had the race brake installed on it.

Brake disk is not that bad, just has a small amount of alum buildup on it. First good hard application of the brakes will take care of that.

ya as far as wobble i never felt nuthin, when i installed the shaft saver once i torque it i checked rotor and it still had float? today was my first ride on it to be honest, only did 50 miles broght in shop do wuick once over n seen that, 3 hrs later its back together lol, i didn't realize id get into brake bleeding etc splitin the caliper! lesson learned
