Does Yamaha use a break-in oil that is different than the recommended oil after the 500 mile period. The reason I ask is that mine was delivered with the oil at the min. level on tube. Don't know if I should run it at that level for break-in or fill to max level. If I fill it, what should I use? I have 0-30 Mobile One from Apex.

Your sled would have been delivered with Yamalube 0-30 Semi-Synthetic. It is the recommended oil for the sled - not a break in oil. This is a dry-sump engine, I wouldn't be worried about the oil level being at minimum.
Semi synthetic ? It's write " use full synthetic " on the side of pan and in the manual... [emoji53] where did you take that ?Your sled would have been delivered with Yamalube 0-30 Semi-Synthetic. Its also a sign that the dealer did not look at things (prep) before . Maybe I am wrong ????

My oil reservoir says ' use manufacturer's recommended synthetic four cycle oil in this engine'. I don't see the the word 'full', at least on mine.Semi synthetic ? It's write " use full synthetic " on the side of pan and in the manual... [emoji53] where did you take that ?
