Breaking in 07 Apex, what oil type?

I'm breaking in my Apex according to the Motoman method.
After 20 miles, I'm changing my oil. My question is, do I use the
4 stroke yamalube (which is semi-synthetic) or should I go with a
good quality petroleum base automobile oil? Do you get good ring
seating with the yamalube?

I ran the same yamalube after 30 miles and now with 2400 miles I have not used any oil. Worked for me .
