I take 8 Mile to work so I'll be sure to look out for any weld shops I see. There are so many businesses along that route that I've never paid much attention to.
Here's the one I was thinking about that is close to my work.

Not applicable here; but I have heard a saying somewhere; "nothing tests the courage of a man's convictions, like a super tight left hand threaded nut" lol

Ha! Was talking to a guy at work today, and he happens to know someone who welds and repairs aluminum aircraft for a living. Talked to him on the phone today and he'll have my tank repaired this week!

Just as an FYI Dunn is an excellent welder. Welded an axle on my Bronco 30 years ago in my driveway, looked better than the factory robot welds. He did service work in the Grad Prix pits in Detroit for some of the top Indy teams in the world. Also worked at Waterford Hills Race Track helping local racers in the pits.

I have one from my RX1 that I think is the same as vector. It has been patched with jb weld and held for a season with no leaks. You can have it want a quick fix, I know how important it is to keep the wife happy!
