In the process of changing tracks (backcountry) found the bolt that holds the bottom gears of the chain case was broken. Has anyone else found this or is this an isolated failure. Would not have found this problem if not for changing tracks.

I had the same thing and if you do a search you will see others have too. It is becoming more common

Pretty much anyone that has taken their chaincase apart!

was doing the same to mine on saturday. bolt was sheard off in the shaft. boxed up the parts and brought it to the dealer and let them deal with it (warranty). hopefully have it back by the weekend
