I don't want to hijack the thread, but Fyi Thunder Products kit includes a primary spring, glide washers, and weights. Haven't heard any negative feedback on it.

Unfortunately we are trying to resolve this issue with Yamaha components as they will not reimburse for After market Clutch kits. Wish they did it would make our job easier.

This could also be a reason for short belt life, and guys who went to thunder kits(ME) have not blown a belt since installing Lonns kit. I dont want to give out his spring specs, but I can say its shorter and uses glide washers.
Maybe just another small piece of the overall issues in belt life in these SWs.

Understood. That's why I prefaced not wanting to hijack the thread. I just wanted to let people know there are options. Personally, the season is too short and am not going to sit and wait for the company to do something. I got aftermarket rollers, kit, and has machining done (for coil bind.) Should we have to? Absolutely not and I even bought extra warranty. But I didn't drop that kind of $ to sit and look at it, wait for them to step up, or ride it on pins and needles waiting for something to break.Unfortunately we are trying to resolve this issue with Yamaha components as they will not reimburse for After market Clutch kits. Wish they did it would make our job easier.
I applaud you as a dealer for being on here and being forthright. Unfortunately, other dealers are not the same or play the ignorance game. "No, haven't heard of that or any issues. " Ya, right.
Sorry, I digress.
Sledding rocks, I don't actually know the spring specs off hand, but agree with Dan about disclosure even if I did. You would have to contact TP.

Just call them. The kit is called the Big Venom kit, but make sure you specify sidewinder (not viper, as they have one for that too.) Lonn or his wife will probably answer and are very friendly. Thanks . The only reason I asked about spring . I'm looking on there web site and can't find any info on springs . Do u have a part # . Mine primary spring is also gouged bad on the side, actual metal scraped off the side of spring, I have a blu/white/blu I put in and just did a loop on the yard it engages at 2600 rpm. Likely be a bit poochy on bottom, but should be close at high rpm. Will post how it works after this weekend.

I had ordered the TP glide washers earlier in the week and just got around to putting them in tonight. I definitely have signs of primary spring bind and THIS! The bearing has a huge gouge in it. WTF Yamaha??!! I was hoping to ride this weekend with the snow storm we have coming and doubt I should put this back on. Will call my dealer tomorrow and see if they have one in stock, otherwise this weekend is out

Found a used 2011 salvaged Apex clutch swapped out the arms/springs, mounted it on with no issues road 480 miles.
Most current YXR clutch covers and or clutch works in a pinch.
I did have a EVO clutch kit in the Sidewinder and the arms where to long for the Apex spider however, there is just minor differences in the clutches as compared.
