Yes,very nice,you even ran flex pipe,very cool,now do you have any way of checking how lean the the ecu lets it get,on top end,i understand that even the safest mufflers made for the SW may need an enrichment of fuel,or tune,which I don't want to have to do again.

I've purchased a tune, just waiting the release. If your referring because of warrrnty issues I purchased the yes from Yamaha only for the cat parts not the engine..

So you don't care about your engine being warentied by Yamaha,i have had the procross 1100 turbo with TD stage 4 tune and muffler in 13 ran good not great like every one elses did,motor never got the rings seated properly,bad cylinders,but all this happened in 2nd year cat don't care warrenty,yes they discovered I had a pipe only on it,and would not cover the motor rebuild,so I got screwed,i even had ben reflash my ECU back to stock,but my dealer had my TD muffler kicking around on floor near my all apart motor,and they wanted to see stock muffler,well they did not have it,and I got screwed,so I am a little apprensive about tunes at this point,but it was not the tune that had anything to do with motor melt down,all cats..

I struggle with this every day. I believe the Yamaha built 998 is going to prove to be better product than the Cat 1049.

Yeah I can understand that, I will say this I've had a boosted nytro since 2011, running 9.4lbs boost at sea level, granted I tuned the fuel curve but it's been the most reliable sled I've ever owned, like I said I'm only worried about warrrnty for the "cat" in the sidewinder, if I blow the engine then I'll rebuild it myself, I always say if you can't pay to play....don't..
