Would this kit work with all Deltabox versions?? I would be interested in a bulkhead saver kit for sure.

Yes the saver and repair kits will fit 03-05 Rx-1 & Warrior, 05-09 Vectors and 06-10 Apex. They should fit the new units as well since they use the same bulkheads, but I need to verify there is nothing else in the nose area that would interfere with our kits.

Pretty much finalized the design this week. Hope to have the first few kits made up next week.

Update:

Still refining a few things on the kits.

Had some test pieces powder coated last week so we could check fitment and tolerances once coated.

is this kit going to be a universal fit to either side or will there be a left side repair kit and a right side repair kit

We've gone through a few different designs. I think by end of week we should have a complete kit made up with our final design.

The repair kit will need to be either a left or a right....not universal.

A repair kit will be sold with a saver halve for other side.

Prices and Photos added.

Ready to start taking orders.

I have enough materials on hand to make about 20 kits right now.

Great job Hibshman, definitely going to give it some serious thought! ;)!

(Just and Idea, maybe video tape then post an installation for those that are afraid to tackle this job. I found Tom's Ulmer clutch kit installation a great help as I had never done one before but had no qualms about tackling it after I seen that video)

My father had also suggested we do an installation video to demonstrate the ease of installation. Will post video link once we have one made.

If you installed that rear cooler you will have no issues installing this! ;)!

Great idea. I had a recent post on here asking why yamaha designed the a arm this way so that the 'thin' bulk head bushings takes all the wear. Was looking for ideas on how to lock a arm bolt in place. Looks like the saver kit would do this.

What is the saver kit made of SS plate, aluminum plate? How thick is it? Are the fastener bolts stainless?

Plate is 1/4" thick. All material is steel.

All kits will be powder coated.

Fasteners are zinc plated.
