Great job Hibshman, definitely going to give it some serious thought! ;)!

(Just and Idea, maybe video tape then post an installation for those that are afraid to tackle this job. I found Tom's Ulmer clutch kit installation a great help as I had never done one before but had no qualms about tackling it after I seen that video)

My father had also suggested we do an installation video to demonstrate the ease of installation. Will post video link once we have one made.

If you installed that rear cooler you will have no issues installing this! ;)!

Your Father is a smart man Hibshman! ;)! lol.

The rear cooler was a piece of cake so I'm glad to hear this will be as well ;)!

Great Idea ;)! I broke out the bottom hole in my bulkhead 2 years ago. I was able to limp it back to camp, but was unable to fix it until I got it home.

I wish I would have had The Bulkhead Saver Kit then..... that would have saved the weekend.

I got one of the first Bulkhead Saver kits for the added reinforcement.

The plates fit perfectly and the installation was very easy.

Just ordered one too.

Seen the video and seen how easy it was to install (thought the A-arms had to be removed, but they don't ;)! ) so I decided to get one.

Hibshman has been great to deal with in the past so it's a no brainer to me, this product looks well made and it will great knowing I have his kit installed.

Great looking product Travis, hope you sell lots of them. ;)!

(3) saver kits shipping out tomorrow to Sleachrx1, Irv & Guardrail. ;)!

What is the most common way to break a bulkhead? This kit must make it stronger so it stays together? I never broke one so I am just wondering

I'm assuming this would work on the Ventures as well? If you want, next week I'd be willing to pull off my front nose cone (assuming it's as simple as 6 bolts line shown in the video) and take some photo's and measurements for you. I just picked up a 2013 RS Venture GT and this seems like good insurance. Something I'd be willing to buy for added peace of mind.

I was crossing RR tracks at no more than 10 mph and my carbide caught the rail. Tore both A arm holes out on right side. Only thing good about it was it was the last day of a four day group ride and I was near a road. Would have really sucked hitting something out in the middle of nowhere.

Looking forward to receiving it Travis.

Thanks again ;)!

Just installed mine, it's as easy as the video shows. Took me less than 20 minutes for the whole job. Great kit. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Glad to hear, mine should be here this week or early next depending on mail this time of year?

Looking forward to getting it installed.

I just wanted to give a little feedback on this product. I received this item on Monday (new years eve) and i decided to try and install it New Years day, slotting myself ample time, figuring it would be time consuming.. I watched the you tube link listed on the original post, and began the process.. The video is very easy to follow, witch is good, because I didn't receive any written instructions. But if you watch the video once, you won't need any.. This install took me probably a 1/2 hour at the most, and I had a skid plate, that I thought might pose a problem, and need to be removed. In reality, i just pulled the 2 front bolts on the skid plate, pulled it down a little, and worked around it. Overall, I would say that the quality of components is top notch, and installation is a breeze. As far as the durability, or ability to prevent bulkhead failure, the jury is out.. I could only assume that this would significantly strengthen the area around the ears, and prevent failure, but only time will tell.

I really do like the fact that this kit keeps the a arm bolts from turning, thus making the bushings in the a arms do their job, and lessening the wear on the bulkhead bushings. I just replaced all my bushings with ulmer olite, and would like them to last as long as possible..

Over all, I am very satisfied with this product so far! :jump:
I would have posted pics, but I have not been able to get them to load here from my phone.. Sorry.

I will award a prize to anyone recognizing a benefit of this kit which has nothing to do with the strength of the bulkhead. The answer will be posted in the morning if no one claims their sailboat fuel tonight.
