The burble in the 5000-6000 RPM range everyone is talking about. Is it with both the shorty and the Warrior. Is it when the sleds are in stock form?, or when the ECP Air filter kit is installed?, or is it there both stock and with the filter kit installed? I have about 150 mikes on my Warrior and don't seem th have this burble, I am stock so far. Went out for a short ride today to see if I had just overlooked it before, but could find no hesitation.

My warrior is stock except for the clutch kit and Green hotzman springs and 137.5 jets and needles raised one spot!! I noted this hesitation at 1/4 throttle opening!!

Sounds like you should put the needles back down.

THis is the same set up that BBY has and he never said anything about the burble/hesitation... But he doesnt have the green springs in eather, not sure if that is the cause or not!!

It is the springs. Needle lowering does not help. Still working on the fix.

There shouldn't be any problems with with sleds with the stock airbox. It's with the K&N's and a solution will be found. For the record, on the trails you'll never see the RPM's that are being affected (too low). Like another poster said, you'll only notice it while unloading from your trailer

For what it's worth. I have a stock airbox with the green springs and I experiended the burble at the 5-5500 RPM range. I did not notice any performance issues other than that, but I would not call this a performance issue.
I have stock airbox with green springs and have no hesitation

Stock airbox and green springs will produce the burble and when you are at slow trail speeds, light throttle you will get it. The only way I could see not hitting that speed ever on the trail would be with a very agressive clutch set up and deep, deep gears. This is beginning to sound like denial. Not bitching about the problem but looking to cure it. Snow, please snow. :?

I mentioned this "burble" a while back and everyone thought I was nuts. .glad it's not just me.
Everyone may have thought you were nuts, but did that have anything to do with the burble?
