Has anyone tested them out yet? I have heard a lot of talk about the Powderhounds but none on the C&A ski. Would love some input on the matter. I own a set of white pros that have only seen the snow 4 times on my 05 renegade. My Yami mounts just came in and I am wondering if I should event go through with the change.

Also, just recieved skinz float plate and yami aftermarket bumper for X-Mas from the wife. Are people having the same problem (Ice build up and bulging) with this skinz plate as they are with the factory plate? Any suggestions?

This is a problem that has just been brought to my attention by Skinz.

The snow coming in through the vents hitting the warm clutching melting and draining out through the belly pan onto the float plate. There will be a solution shortly and I will post up the info when I have it.

Thanks, I thought about drilling out a bunch of small holes but I think it would weaken the plastic.

i have the skinz float plate and just got back a week ago from out west.. the front straps the bolt to the plate and hook around the bumper snapped off from the excessive amount of snow/ice build up.. i did my best to keep it clear but with how much snow the had in the mountains of idaho it was tough... i cut a slit one in apart on the float plate right by the bumper and ran hose clamps thru the slits and arond the bumper.. it was alot stronger and i didnt seem to get quite as much snow in there but it was still an issue.. any further ideas..?

C&A XT's are my favorite skis. I've tried lots of different skis on different sleds and nothing compares, IMO. They're bulletproof, float great, steer on a dime, and just handle awesome. I have a set coming for my MTX.
