warrior63,
I've just put the Ice Ripper track on my Apex GT. Obviously I can't tell you how well it performs, however, I can tell you it's a lot better than those screw in the lug types. My motivation for getting this track instead of studding traditionally was that I wanted the safety without drilling 96 or 144 holes in my track. The longer the studs need to be the more stress there will be on the track and I just don't feel that 96 studs would be enough given the hp on our sleds. As far as your second thoughts are concerned, let's say you weren't satisfied, you could simply stud your track the way you would have anyway. Seems to me like minimal risk that should work out just fine.

I also swapped for Ice ripper track on attak. Hoping to achieve same traction level as 108 studs. time will tell. Like Rock, worst case I add some studs. Best case, good traction and braking with less weight! studdog.
