TOO BAD; My Other Half Doesn't Want Her Own Sled :dunno:

But I give her TWO THUMBS UP ;)! ;)! for HANGING ON THE BACK............I mean Riding on the back of my RED ROCKET : :-o

I'll second that. My wife is going to try her own sled for the first time in five years, she still won't keep up. When we're going to rock she's hanging on for dear life on the pipped Venture 700, I can still here her laughing in her helmet. :jump:

She has no fear

My problem is my wife has know fear, she doesn't know how to use the brake, all she likes to do is pin it. I've seen her eat it bad on jumps because she was going to fast , does she listen to me.........HELL NO. She scares me some times, I'm afraid one of these times it's going to catch up with her and the last thing I want is to see her hurt. All my buddies says her balls are bigger than there's....LOL. That's why she is getting the Phazer and not the Apex :-o , and the funny thing is she's just a little thing, 120 lbs soaking wet with gear.

My wife rides great.... she may not be on your tail light, but not far back at all..... when we first started dating she would ride dbl with me every once in a while, following year i got a 00 sxr and she got the 93 exciter 2 sx to ride, following year she got a 99 phazer, then she got the sxr when i bought the viper, then she got a new vector in 05.

we love to ride together.... last year she wasnt able to ride cause of being pregger with tucker.... but, on our last boat outing, she said

(and i quote)

"I CANT WAIT TO GO SNOWMOBILING"

A good friend of mine has a wife like that, no fear. They were ridding one night, she was on a Phazer II, he was on a V-Max 600. My friend thought it would be fun to go around her on the outside, right as he came up on her she roosted him, filled his helmet with snow. She claimed she panic ed and hit the throttle instead of the brake, my friend and I know better. :drink:

I picked "no, but close". Her Naturally Aspirated 900 RMK lacks in performance compared to the Super Charged RX-1mtn. However if I put her on my sled; it's nothing but tail lights.

Put her off trail though, and regardless of which sled I'm riding; my larger frame (285lb w/gear) and 26 yrs riding in the mountains is a huge advantage vs. her small frame (135lbsw/gear) and 3yrs of learning.

Having someone try and "KEEP UP" is a major cause of trail accidents. Inexperienced riders, speed and lack of confidence. I tell all our newer riders to never go faster than they're comfortable. The group will wait for them. Just my opinion and I could be wrong.

My wife can ride pretty well, I don't go WFO, like I do with my buddies, I think she might be lacking in fear, Last year she hit this jump on a trail near Silver City, MI and launched almost 30 ft on the RTX, It was awesome!!!!

I take this a step further. I figure that I am responsible for their safety, so I control the speed for the group. I think running away from a new rider is just as bad as them trying to keep up. I make sure we ride a controlled pace with a newer rider, since often they have no idea how dangerous this sport can be.

Can vote yet.. She has not ridden with me... Will find out this winter.. I think I will lay off the throttle a little so she can keep up.. LOL

My bros wife can usually keep up when she aint knocked up which she is again for the second straight winter :o| My ex g/f was pretty good also. But this year im riding with a chick thats never ridden a sled before :o| :o| . Oh well shes damn good on the quads so there is hope.

That chick can ride!

Cast my vote. She can keep up with most of us, and the ones she can't keep up with, have faster sleds.

She loves to ride! Even scares me sometimes.

My wife has shamed many a man.True story we caught and passed a group that was zipping right along a few miles down the trail we stopped and this group pulls up along side we are all standing with our helmets off and the guy says man can you guys ride then he looks at my wife.He is like are you with them she replies yes.Shakes his head and walks away.It was pretty funny. My vote was for yes she can ride faster then most men.
