Nice posting and a lot of detail. Your club sounds very busy!
Thanks VectorLTX, but it's not my club.
I'm in southern Ont but have ridden in North Bay, and it was excellent then so with all these improvements, it can only get better.
BB posts on freedomsledder and ontarioconditions so I just pass around his updates when I think they are beneficial for others to read. (namely those that whine about the price of a permit and have never volunteered once in their lives)
I am looking forward to getting back up there soon someday!

Thanks Irv, well the acknowledgement still goes to you for sharing the good work of others with the many readers on this fine forum.
So Irv, what are the trails like in your neck of the woods? I've ridden on the trails in the I Falls area several times, how would you say they compare to those? What about traffic (sledders on the trail) is there much?

I can't really compare Vector as I have never ridden in the I Falls area(s)
My trails in Port Perry are a good variety, everything from tight twisty to wide and fast.
From there, I can also reach basically what ever type of trails I want for the day but I mainly do runs from Port Perry to the Ganaraska forest then to Bewdley on Rice lake.
This winter my group and I are looking to venture north more from Port rather than east but everthing depends on snow conditions of course.

Irv,
Well, I totally blew that one. I thought you might have lived in the Fort Frances area. I'm bad!

I'm almost in the FF area - actually about 2 hrs north in Dryden.
About a ft on the ground and some trails have been groomed. I'm still new to this sport so only had a quick blast on the lake and then through some old trails yesterday.
Just waiting for more snow before everywhere opens up fully.

Osgoode Carleton trails are now open but at a limited status, mostly due to water crossings not quite frozen enough yet but this should improve with the cold this week.
