I ride an xtx as well as my oldest son and my other son has the ltx......all are good ...ltx is definately smoother on trail but he cannot keep up of trail and isn't faster on trail either...if you like off trail at all or ever plan a trip to deeper snow buy an xtx

By no means picking a fight, but in my humble opinion it's not worth giving up trail comfort for "if". Speaking from experience, my LTX will go everywhere an XTX will go better than stock XTX and most places a 153 will go. But, my LTX is modded for off trail. Bonus is I still have the better feeling rear skid for trail ride. If you do go XTX, I would plan on Hygear setup that changes rear suspension to rising rate. Many report much better trail comfort with that.I ride an xtx as well as my oldest son and my other son has the ltx......all are good ...ltx is definately smoother on trail but he cannot keep up of trail and isn't faster on trail either...if you like off trail at all or ever plan a trip to deeper snow buy an xtx

Can you put a 1.6 track on a LTX LE without changing the drivers?

I think we need to separate the XTX LE 137 from the rest of the XTX models. The XTX LE 137 has a coupled rear and QS3 shocks all around.

Good point. But to my knowledge there's at least one shock that is different between the two models I think maybe in the rear? That was another thing that contributed to my decision to go with the LTX-LEI think we need to separate the XTX LE 137 from the rest of the XTX models. I think the rear front coil over shock doesn't have the adjuster knob. The XTX LE 137 has the same shocks as the Tundercat. For what I wanted in shocks they are all I need.Good point. I agree with snow ninja! I was back and forth a million times and went with the LTX-LE and the ride is plush. I changed out to a 1.75 track and curve skis. Its not modded to the point of snow ninjas but the little off trail ive been able to do its been very capable! I tried to model mine after the XTX 137. And i have personaly seen snow ninja ride and he can go anywhere the big sleds go and more!

Please help me decide!!! anyone have pro/cons to each? reviews online don't seem to care for the XTX for trail manners which is majority of my riding. however i would like to put a 1.6 cobra track on which it already has!!
how do the rear suspensions compare to one another? is the XTX really more for off trail riding?
Had 137 LTX, no the 141 XTX. Not even close, XTX is way more fun to ride. Could not stand the coupled suspension on the LTX. If you don't like the skis lifting upon throttle command, then go with the LTX. I just find the XTX much more fun and you have to learn how to conquer the trails with the uncoupled suspension. Would not go back.
