On the subject of coolent lines to the carbs. Is this automatic or is it like my buddies old Viper where you did it manually? I'm asking cause I don't know.

there is no coolant sw on the carb rail. mine also can be difficult when warm just open the trottle a little bit it starts right up.
Sounds just like the 87 Exciter that I used to have. The vibration from the engine would take out the needle and seat and did the same routine.

Dealer called today and the sled is ready...so they say. We'll find out next weekend. They didn't go into detail on the repairs but the work order should say. As my buddy told the service manager, this is the 3rd time for the same issues, so be prepared if the sled dosn't start. I guess he didn't say much after that...interesting
