After reading many of the forums I noticed almost everyone said the stock carbides are junk and to change them. My question and I would guess a lot of it is personnel choice but change to what. It seems everyone is sugessting 6 in carbides. I am studded and the dealer suggested the duellies and that they will elinate darting while inproving bite. I have also read that the shaper bars are good. Which do you suggest and why? :drink:

call SCOTT BERGSTROM (1-815-654-2950) HE'LL GIVE YOU THE RIGHT SET UP FOR YOUR SLED AND RIDING STYLE. PHIL :flag:

The Dooly's track increadibly well...If you are into long distance touring they are hard to beat ;)! But they do tend to push more thru the corners 8) This year I'm try the Studboy Deuce Bar....Single wear bar cornering with 2 carbide tracking ;)!

Don't put too much bite on the skis unless you have enough studs. The carbide length should be matched to the traction added to the rear. I use 8" Woodys and 144 studs.

What are the stock carbides? 3 1/2"? Joke.

I like my new duece bars very well.. They go straight and bite better than the dooly's I used last year.. MM.

No Redline Viper I studded it. Never seen a machine yet that come studded from the factory.

I think he was making fun of the worthless short factory ski carbides.

I love my Shaperbars! The improved handling they provide in sloppy corners is amazing. They track and wear well to boot. Very impressed!
