I sold my brother my old 05 war. as I ripped a track lug off on my last ride, we changed the track. when changing the track we discovered that the drive axle bearing in the chain case had lost its cage. chain case never ran out of oil and always ran synthetic in it and replaced it frequently. all the rest of the bearings where fine as we did check them at the time. sled had 9500km (ish) at the time.

should we replace the rest of the bearings or will it be fine?

X3- best preventative maintenance money you will ever spend.

From what I remember on last year's TY (North Bay) ride that sled spent a little time on it's side so maybe all the motor oil he was replacing ended up in the chain case! LOL

Might as well change them while it handy and forget it about for another 9000 klics.

X4, its easier now then later since your apart.

we are going to replace them but when we replaced the track was 3 days before the jan ty ride. he has 11500km on it now.

I think that was my apex he had on it's side on the north bay ride. that one was trying to play tree hugger.

that is the 3rd track on that sled too.
