2017 Sidewinder LTX-SE. 11750 miles (SOLD)
I’m sure this has been brought up. But anyone else seeing considerable chain stretch? I’m sitting at 5200 miles and only have 2-3 threads remaining on adjuster. I have been running about 1 to 1 and a quarter turn out from finger tight. Seems maybe a guy would have to drop a new chain in after 9-10 k ? Thoughts?

Ya pretty much if you ride hard.I’m sure this has been brought up. But anyone else seeing considerable chain stretch? I’m sitting at 5200 miles and only have 2-3 threads remaining on adjuster. I did my 500 mile service and I was surprised mine didn’t seem to stretch much. Went finger right then 1 1/4. Studded and tuned now so I’m sure I’ll be harder on it though lol

Yes, I was surprised how often I needed to tighten my 18 that had the 21 top. The 19 I have now is geared 24-50, so I'm interested to see if chain wear is better with a larger top sprocket. Just need snow!
