I'm having a hard time deciding what to put back in the chaincase for oil. I don't believe that Yamaha oil is the best quality but I also don't know what a good alternative is. Anybody got a suggestion or experience that would be of benefit?
Thanks.

Amsoil makes a chain case lube. I have never had a problem running that stuff.

i have been using royal purple 75w140 in my sleds but any synthetic name brand is good.

Thanks guys. You've provided me with some viable options.
Been using MotoMaster 75W90 Full synthetic gear oil for Yamaha sleds since 2007 and no problems (touch wood).Vectors, Apex's, Vipers and Sidewinders.

I have a bottle of the Yamaha stuff ready for when I change the track this summer but I'm a bit concerned over how much thinner it seems compared to 75w90 gear oil (although this is based on shaking a closed bottle so not exactly scientific).
It seems to me that thicker (to a point) would be better from a protection from wear perspective.

I’ve been using Mobil 1 synthetic gear lube for over 20 years in all my sleds with no issues
